I finished watching The Rose of Versailles anime almost two weeks ago, and what can I say....

WHAT CAN I SAY?

If you have the chance, watch it!. Yes it's old and the animation is at a low level comparing to what you may be used to watch, but it's worth it! And the art is beautiful too.

I was really scared to be bored again with an anime that everyone recommends (well, not everyone, since it's so old. But it's a classic that a lot of people talk about), but luckily it was quite the opposite ;u; ♥... Seriously, I'm so glad to have given Berubara a chance!

(and by the way, I'm really surprised at the scenery and photography of all the episodes, considering it's from 1979 o_o... they must have used a huge budget on that!)

I watched the anime maybe year ago and fell in love with both story and artwork right away (like I did with all of Ikeda's mangas i've read). And this is awesome picture of Oscar!
The picture in the middle is really bright and cheering to me, the last one reminds me more of storys ending... but it's beautiful anyway.

This is very nice. I haven't finished watching or reading berubara, but what I watched was good, and what I read was very nice.
Your art is lovely. I really like it. It's colorful and simple, charming. My, those characters are really cute (the ones all around your gallery). BTW, that 100 theme challenge sure sounds interesting. May I try?

Y siii, esa escena va a quedar grabada para siempre en mi memoria +___+! Si no recuerdo mal hay una imagen de la misma escena hecha por Shingo Araki, qué cosa más épica! *A* *llora de la emoción*
Si, si! El manga ya lo había leído, me lo pasó Mel por casualidad XD, y no puedo estar más agradecida! *u*~~ Primero terminé el manga y después vi la serie. Me gustaron los dos, creo que cada uno tiene sus encantos y sus defectos, y por eso se complementan!
El grito de Andre va a quedar para la historia xD, cada vez que salta la canción en mi winamp siempre hago el grito XDDDDD
